If you knew me 30 years ago, you would never guess that I would get into the field of massage therapy. I was never a
"touchy/feely" person. I have always tried to help people though, and I have been an empath my entire life (even before I knew what this meant). Going to work at a bank every day, was just not fulfilling to me, and I knew I wanted to help people every day in an impactful and nurturing way.
After many years in the corporate world, I knew I was meant for bigger things, and to help many people along the way. I knew I didn't want to be in the traditional medical field, so I went to massage school! I graduated top of my class in 2009. I moved back to Wisconsin and started my massage business in 2010, and I have been helping others in the community since that time. From essential oils, to cupping, and a range of modalities in between, massage therapy is my passion. I love to help my clients overcome their aches, pains, stress and tension. I really enjoy being the person that my clients come to when they are in need of a therapeutic and specifically focused treatment.
I love learning new things! In addition to cupping training, Ashiatsu, and many other modalities I have learned over the years, I fell in love with Ayurveda. I have become certified in Ayurveda bodywork, and I am excited to bring this 5,000+ year old modality to the community in central Wisconsin. I have seen this bodywork bring lasting relief to clients in a way that I haven't seen other modalities do.
If you've never had a massage before in your life, or you have had several, I guarantee you have never had a session quite like one I will put together specifically for you! When you come in for a session, it will encompass all that I have learned. I would love to welcome you to the Soothing Palms Massage community, and invite you to try a session on my table.
